Many of its portfolio companies are based in Italy focused on opportunities in the digital media market, including interactive and digital content, digitization of processes, software technology platforms, and distribution-based businesses. Founded in 2008 and based in Milano, Italy, dPixel is seed stage advisor to Digital Investments SCA Sicar, an investment company chartered in Luxembourg and is advisor to the Telecom Italia "Working Capital" Accelerator.
One of Italy’s leading venture capital firms, Principia SGR (www.principiasgr.it) invests in early stage and startup companies through its two closed-end funds ("Principia" and "Principia II"), with 90 million Euros under management.
